It’s a really exciting time at Broadview Strategy Group right now. With a number of client files moving forward in a good way, new members joining our team and bringing their own skills to our work, we approach Thanksgiving weekend with much to be thankful for.
The friday before a long weekend is always busy around the office, and this one is no exception, particularly because we’re planning our own team building fun and dinner next Tuesday evening following the holiday, so we can enjoy our colleagues company in a more social environment.
While we give thanks for what continues to be a good year for the firm, we also give back.
Today John and I took a walk to the Fort York Food Bank, which is just up the street from us at Dundas and Bathurst, to drop off a cheque for $1,000 to support their good community work.
As a firm we wanted to do something meaningful to make Thanksgiving better for others and chose the Fort York Food Bank because they are the food bank for Broadview Strategy Group’s neighbourhood.
This was our first interaction with the Fort York Food Bank, but won’t be our last as we were asked and have already committed to bringing the team back to volunteer later in the year.
